Tom Allen
Tom Allen lives in Tuscaloosa, AL with his wife and children. Tom currently serves as the minister of children and administration at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Tuscaloosa. He and his wife, Rebekah, both have a heart for international missions and have done short term work in many countries. Their hearts also beat for adoption as they have children from both Russia and Guinea Bissau. Tom was able to travel to Guinea Bissau in 2014 and has lived all over the world as a former army brat. These experiences bring a unique and valuable perspective when shaping the ministry of Hope Remembered in Guinea Bissau.
Elizabeth Gray
Elizabeth Gray lives with her husband, Ted, and their five children in Point Lookout, New York. Their youngest child was born in Guinea Bissau. Liz is the President of TGL Strategy, a division of The Girls Lounge. Her work focuses on leveraging insights and cultural analysis to help brands raise the level of equality across gender, race, economic status, and age in their advertising, entertainment, and all branded content. Liz works closely with Lollipop Theater and the Worldwide Orphans Foundation. Her years of experience with her vocation and volunteer work bring valuable insight in shaping the work of Hope Remembered.
Tim Lacy
Tim Lacy resides in Columbiana, AL with his wife of nearly forty years, Jeannie. They have five adult children and eight grandchildren. Tim is currently self employed as a turf-grass consultant. He is an Area Director for Gideons International and a volunteer chaplain at the Shelby County Jail and Juvenal Detention Center. He also serves as an elder in his local church. Tim is a founding board member and brings many years of experience in managing a business as well as extensive missions work both locally and globally to help shape and carry out the vision for Hope Remembered.
