Videos Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Guinea Bissau! Every year in the rainy season the team in Quebo makes silage to feed the animals in the dry season. It is a mixture of corn stalks, millet, and sorghum. It is hard work and everyone has to work together to get the job done. Once the silage is chopped it is compressed and stored underground. This video was sent by Jeremias M’Batna. He is the director of a Christian School located in the Capital city of Bissau that Hope Remembered helps support. We hope to help him raise the funds that he needs to buy a larger piece of land for his growing school. The Atkins Family Project in CanchungoThis is a great video put together by the Atkins family about the project they are working on in Canchungo, Guinea Bissau. They joined Hope Remembered in 2019 and are doing great work for the kingdom! Shelling corn is hard work. Our little plot produced about 450 pounds of seed that we used to make cornmeal and animal feed. Life in Guinea-Bissau This video shows what life is like for Travis and Sarah in Guinea-Bissau. Quebo Motorcycle RideRide with Travis Lacy and Eliel Vargas from Escola Crista Campos Irmaos to the Lacy’s home. Careful where you step! Guinea Bissau is home to the West African Green Mamba. They are very deadly and since we have no access to antivenom it is important to get rid of them when we find them near our houses. This one was killed right next to Sarah and Travis’s house.
