Travis and Sarah have been serving in Guinea Bissau since 2016. Sarah previously lived in Bissau for three years during which she and a team of Guinean believers crafted and recorded 48 Bible stories in a natural and reproducible way. They recorded the stories in Kriol, the trade language, and specifically geared them towards an animistic worldview to be used in evangelism and discipleship. They met in 2015 and were married in 2016.
Travis serves as the field director for Hope Remembered while Sarah supports him in his role and cares for their growing family. As Hope Remembered grows Travis is working to make sure all of Hope Remembered’s missionaries have what they need to carry out the vision that God has given them. He is responsible for keeping up with the progress of the different projects that are going on and reporting to the board. He is also working to organize short term teams in the future and recruit new missionaries to serve alongside our partners in Guinea Bissau.
We invite you to partner with us in this journey. The two main ways that you can do that are:
-
PRAY- First, you can commit to pray for us. It is so encouraging when things get tough on the field to know that there is an army of people praying for us. We are newly married and moving to an area with much spiritual warfare. We want to have good relationships with the people and to have a healthy marriage and spiritual life. God has answered prayers in amazing ways to lead us to this point and we are excited to see how He works in the future. If you are not already receiving our updates and would like to receive them please email us at travis@hoperemembered.org and ask us to add you to the list. There are also lots of prayer ideas on our website at http://www.hoperemembered.org/pray/
-
GIVE- Second, you can partner with us through financial support. You can give a one-time gift or make a monthly commitment. Your financial gift is tax-deductible.
